    The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is soliciting comments on the proposed the Lake Louise Road Resurfacing project. The project consists of resurfacing the Lake Louise Road, replacing/cleaning/repairing culverts, minor leveling and grading of the road surface, drainage improvement, signs, and striping. All work will occur in the existing ROW, and will occur primarily on the existing surface area.

    DOT&PF requests information and comments on resources in the project area that may be affected including historic properties, archaeological sites, wetlands, and multiple unmapped floodplains.

    Wildland Fire Resource and Prevention

    Alaska DNR and Area Forestry departments are working on developing Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPP) for communities in the Copper River Basin including the LSTCA community area
