As many of you know, the LSTCA and the LLSMC have been jointly working to secure from the MSB title to the Matthews Safety Building and an associated portion of the parcel of land that can serve both association's needs for grooming machine and equipment storage, indoor space for maintenance, a dedicated community  meeting space, and a centralized location to store and maintain community health and safety and fire equipment in the community.

Project Manager Eileen Probasco has been shepherding the our proposal through the various administrative steps, and we need the community's support to keep our forward momentum going!

    HOW YOU CAN HELP:

The Mat-Su Borough platting division is holding a public hearing on Thursday January 15, 2026 at 1pm to take public testimony and action on the subdivision of the MSB parcel at Lake Louise.  The resulting 5-acre parcel which contains the public safety building is proposed for transfer to the Lake Louise community, following final approval of the subdivision and approval of the transfer by the borough assembly.  We are requesting you do one of two things:

    1. Attend the public hearing and speak before the platting board,  or

    2. Submit written comment in accordance with the attached public hearing notice. Written comments must be received by the borough platting office by noon on Wednesday, January 14, 2026

Eileen Probasco will be in attendance at the meeting and will speak on our behalf, in favor of the subdivision.  Your participation is encouraged, either by your attendance or submittal of written testimony.

Please take this opportunity to show your support for Project Wolf Den and voice your support for the subdivision of the MSB parcel!
